Accor has signed an agreement with Greek Australian developer Reve Group to operate Novotel Sydney Castle Hill. The 143-room hotel is due to open in early 2029, adding full-service, internationally branded rooms to Sydney’s Hills District.
The hotel will sit in the Nova Rêve mixed-use precinct in the Castle Hill town centre, within walking distance of Castle Towers and Castle Hill Metro station.
Conference facilities for corporate demand
Novotel Sydney Castle Hill will include restaurants, cafes and bars, including an elevated dining venue, a fitness centre and pool, and conference and events space.
Accor said the hotel will serve corporate travellers, conference delegates, project teams and leisure guests as investment in transport, commercial and residential infrastructure continues across Sydney’s north-west. For travel managers and event planners, it offers a branded full-service option in a part of Greater Sydney where that kind of supply is limited.
Accor chief operating officer Pacific Adrian Williams said hotels are playing a larger role in mixed-use developments.
“The signing of Novotel Sydney Castle Hill reflects our confidence in the future of the Hills District and the growing opportunity for hotels to play an important role within mixed-use precincts, bringing together accommodation, dining, meetings and social spaces that serve visitors and local communities alike,” he said.
A family firm from the Hills
Reve Group is led by Sam Kassis and his partner Romio Georges. It grew out of Kassis Homes, the Greek Australian family’s building business, which has worked in the Hills District for more than 30 years, from trophy homes on quarter-acre blocks to larger mixed-use projects.
Alongside the hotel, Nova Rêve will include 253 apartments in three towers, rising to 23 levels at the tallest point, more than 1,600 square metres of ground-level retail and cafes, and almost 0.4 hectares of landscaped communal gardens.
Architecture and interiors are by Turner, with landscape design by Land and Form Studios.
Kassis said the hotel would give the district somewhere to hold a conference, a wedding or a family celebration, and somewhere for visitors to stay, without leaving Castle Hill.
